Samurai Judo Club re-opens on Tuesday January 4th 2022 (unless covid rules change).
We hope to see all our members back then and new members, whether you have done judo before or not, are welcome to join the club. We currently have 180 members according to the BJA database, and it would be nice to push that up to 200!
We also have a programme of events, including competitions for all ages, coach and player education courses and a men’s dan grading. See our events section for details.
Club members have until December 31st to vote for their choice for our player of the year. The candidates are Callum Spencer, Chris Houghton, Jake Ashen, Sophie Davis and Stefan Newbury. Vote by emailing the Head Coach.
We wish everybody a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. All the best for 2022!
Please DO NOT attend the club if you have covid symptoms, or have had a positive test and not yet had an “all-clear”, or have been in close contact with anybody who has had either. This will protect everybody in the judo community. Thank you. As we are deemed an exercise setting, masks do not have to be worn in the club, but please be considerate of others and keep your distance when off the mat.
